Educational counselling
We have been a registered provider of social services since 2007. We offer educational counselling for children and pupils with a different first language.
For children and parents
- guidance on choosing a school and career path
- help with applying for a secondary school, college or university
- assistance in enrollment at primary and secondary school
- information about entrance exams, preparatory courses and other educational activities
- assistance in the process of nostrification (=recognition of diplomas and degrees) of educational attainment
- Interpreting during consultations with META (we only provide it for META clients as part of educational counselling)
- administrative assistance related to education in the Czech Republic
- Facilitating problem solving at school
- accompaniment of a social worker at school or office
- tutoring in Czech language and other subjects
- support within graduation
- assistance with applying for a scholarship
- mediation of contact with schools or other institutions and organizations (e.g. pedagogical-psychological counselling, legal counselling, court interpreters, intercultural staff, etc.)
