An afternoon with ordinary kids and their extraordinary stories
Join us for this afternoon to play games inspired by real stories of kids and young people who achieved extraordinary things. We’ll learn about their audacity, inventiveness, and incredible stories, ranging from surviving in a wilderness through standing up to bullies to creating inventions that made the world better. We’ll play games, participate in creative activities, and inspire one another to find courage and overcome our own challenges.
The event is inspired by the book entitled Rise Up: Ordinary Kids and their Extraordinary Stories by Amanda Li.
Date and time: March 8, 2025 (Saturday), 2 to 5 pm
