Attention. We bring you new information about unified entrance exams for high schools. The dates have been changed, so look at our infographics.
High schools do not have to have unified entrance exams for schools with school-leaving exams (maturita). Headteachers may instead set their own school entrance exams.
If they state this in the criteria, high school headteachers may, if they have fewer applications than they have vacancies, cancel the entrance exams and accept all applicants in the first round.
As last year, the time for unified entrance exams will be extended this year. So it’s 70 minutes for the test from Czech language and 85 for Mathematics.
